Well I finally found a way to make watching GOT enjoyable for me (and no this isnt a slur on anyone else enjoying it for the people already racing to their keyboards to fire off a response)- my wife Hannah recommended watching it as though it were a D&D game, I tried this and it made the whole experience more enjoyable, since every time there was a (fairly) random death or a new character was introduced I imagine it as a result of a dice roll, party re-shuffle and all the plot twists were made deliberately obvious so the players would pick them up. Result: I very much enjoyed watching all the series (Y) Although I agree with the post below, keeping all those character names straight was a bit of a mission.
