Well I finished the Lake Superior Circle Tour. All 1400+ miles. It wasnt all by bicycle (a little over 500 miles by bike), the rest by car. I rode the bike up over 2 miles of climbing feet in the mountains of Canada and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. During all of my training and planning/researching this past winter, I didnt once believe I couldnt ride my bike the entire distance. After all I rode the entire coast of Michigans lower peninsula last year with less training. But the mountains in Canada broke me. As I reflect on my efforts this morning, I am reminded of the daily struggles my four friends and 1000s others go through living with MS year in and year out. This was about helping all of them get the therapy and medications they need to lighten their burdens.
