Well, I got some good news just now!! Dont think Moxie is leaving the planet any day now! I thought my X already had her diagnosed, but this is the update I just got! Dont like that she can barely walk, and Im hoping meds can help her. Dont want her to suffer either, but as of now, I feel soooo much better! I know the Mox is 12, and wont be here forever, but at least shes still here!! For now!! ☺ Just got back home from the vet. The vet says it does not look like lymph nodes cancer but it could be cancer in her leg bump? Most likely Moxie is old and might have arthritis, ripped ligaments in the knee, hip dysplasia or cancer. The test to check for all which includes x-rays and needle biopsies is $800. If surgery was needed it would cost around $3,500. Moxie had a full blood work and medication for pain and arthritis and it cost just us over $200. We will see tomorrow what the blood work says and vet recommends to wait and see if Moxie will improve with meds. Even if Moxie had cancer she would not die in 2 months so I would not need to put her to sleep soon. Moxie as of now can barely stand.
