Well, I got the results from my CT scan yesterday. Pretty much what we thought. Moderate to severe disc deterioration in my neck. Bone spurs on the discs, narrowing the opening for the nerves to pass through. Pinched nerve in neck causing pain in neck, shoulder, upper and lower arm including numbness, tingling and cold left hand and a headache that never goes away. Some relief with Tylenol, but pretty much in pain all day, everyday. Will have discussions with doctor and chiropractor/physio therapist as to what to do next. Maybe acupuncture, massage or at worst surgery. I need to find some relief soon. I cannot function this way. All the joy I take in life is overshadowed by pain.....not to mention all the wrinkles Im getting from frowning and grimacing ....lol. Even if we find some sort of relief, even the smallest of sudden movements (like checking for changing lanes while driving, reaching for things higher up, or rolling over in bed) could cause it to return. I will have to be very careful with anything I do. I hate being held back from normal day to day living, let alone not being able to do more adventurous things like I used to. GOD! I hate getting old!!!!!
