Well... I guess I can break the news! So, the audition yesterday was a callback for Idol, however, when I went in the room with the producers, they told me Im very good, have a powerful voice, & the experience they wanted, just not what they were looking for this year! I feel as if maybe having the Voice and Jezebel out may have hurt me, as well as I definitely stuck out like a sore thumb with my outfit, because I think I really know who I am as an artist, and dont really want to change that! Ive come to the realization that its a blessing in disguise! And I prayed and prayed before my audition, asking God to do whatever with it, if it was what was meant to be, let it happen, if not... Dont! The funny thing is, I opened a fortune cookie with my dinner the night before, and it said You will soon discover how fortunate you really are. And after yesterday, Im sitting here, realizing that at the young age Im at, Ive already done SO MUCH MORE than the vast majority of kids my age!!! (Which, for those of you who are my age, dont give up on your dreams!) And I STILL am!! Im continuing to move forward with this amazing career Ive been so blessed to be able to pursue! Thank you guys all for the support, you guys are so amazing and Im so blessed to have such loyal and supportive and loving fans, and you guys mean so much to me!
