Well I guess a win is a win but the Hanover-Horton hoops team plays a very poor second half tonight against a solid Vandercook Lk Jayhawk team and and although they prevailed 57-46 there was much disappointment in their performance.Much better in the first half as they raced out to a big halftime lead but a complete lack of focus in all phases of the game for about a 10 -12 minutes stretch and the end of the 3rd and most of the 4th quarter was puzzling.This team as talented as it is has always struggled with stepping on the opponents throat when they have a big lead and putting teams away,hopefully they can develop that killer instinct this year before they lose one they shouldnt.Im sure that will be addressed in a couple of not so fun practices.For those that didnt know the 20th game on the schedule has been filled and Mondaythe 19th the Comets travel to Lansing Eastern to take on the Class A Quakers.
