Well I have gone from mega excited about the Rotorway to feeling a little bit deflated. :-( I have been on a solid roll with this since February with the only gap being when the heli went for a service. Now I have a 5-10 hour conversion course to do in my heli before I can fly home once and for all totally independently. This under normal circumstances would not be an issue and could easily be done in a week at most schools. But, it seems as though I am limited to one instructor who has one day left next month (which may or may not be flyable) and then he is busy again until December... they also only teach for a MAX of 3 hours per day in the air so its looking like this conversion course is going to take a number of months rather than the long weekend I had hoped for :-( I am still excited about it all of course!! but this has taken the edge off it a bit for me. :-( I am in the learning zone NOW like I have never been before and I want to keep the flow going. dragging out a 5 to 10 hour conversion course just sucks. The main reason I purchased the heli before I had finished my training was to avoid a delay at this stage. :-(
