Well, I have made a bold decision. I have two full weeks basically before I report to my new and exciting job at Üsküdar Üniversity. So, I have decided to dust off my digital copy of my childrens book The Adventures of Little Boat, that I wrote during my first masters degree program several years ago, and revamp, update, and try to get it published. I may or may not go the self-publishing route this time, as I did with my first book The Anonymity of Rain, back in 2005. However, it is a viable option. I would really love to see my Adventures of Little Boat in a full-color physical book because it is so lovely and full of my photographic works about animals. Still, the digital route is also an option, and I will definitely explore as much as possible, and use this two short week period to really learn about book publishing, maybe even consulting with my Full Sail mentor Tom Lucas, and a few other notables. All in all, I have had a lot of ideas about what to do for the next two weeks, and besides updating my computer software (which I have already started), ultra deep cleaning this home I am renting, and studying Turkish language/culture/religion (Islam) for at least two hours per day, the re-emergence of Little Boat is going to be my main goal…Inşallah.
