Well, I have mixed emotions about school starting. I kinda wish I had a couple of more weeks to go. Im not ready to wreck my brain, googling trying to figure out homework. I will then have three jobs....my regular Member Advocate Job that I love. ...Mommy shuttle Football Mom...and a teacher. One thing I ask of the parents---- Please get involved in your childs education. Make sure their teacher/s know that you value the quality of education your child receive. Monitor their grades online. Keep lines of communication open with the teachers...stay on top. Our teachers need the parents help just as our kids need our help. The main thing is to show your kid/s that you care and you will not settle for nothing but their best. Looking forward to a great school year and praying that God will keep his hedge of protection around all our kids, the school staff and us as parents. Time to grind its school time!
