Well I hope and pray that this was the last storm to hit the Cape, I have had insurance assessors and now construction personnel invading my home after this last storm. I had no electricity or plugs so no appliances and meals coffee hot water etc. But by the Grace of God, a good friend came to my rescue Noel Thank you for helping me in that dreadful weather and getting the electricity and plugs working. Insurance companies we pay heavy premiums but when time to coff up they find all the excuses under the sun and they send people who seem to be able to ensure that the insurance companies do not have to pay up. Well I am not taking this lying down. I am still in shock I could have been burnt in my home in the night because of the supposed contractors and inspectors allowing electricians and builders to do their own thing and turning a blind eye and then the insurers saying well you know it is wear and tear, can you imagine all your tiles lifting up and cracking all at once water running through the electrical wall sockets and main boxes.....and assessor saying not sure where the water is coming from but your helpful samaritan saying it is through the roof into wall cavaties and through to the wall sockets the box should not be on the wall it should have been on the other side and then the assessor saying too expense to move because all the wiring will have to be moved and it is piped but you know if we have another storm it may occur again, so lets leave it there. I am mad as ever but I am a strong woman and I will ensure that the insurance company resolves this matter to my satisfaction and must remember that I will not taking this lying down and will continue fighting and also exposing them out there. If you missed or dont pay one premium they would be sending you letters and demands. Like you demand insurance companies so I demand the quality for the money that I have invested in this home so pay up soon
