Well I just got off the phone with Mr. Bridges....lovely conversation. Did we forget how to be friends? Did we stop dating?......One thing I did admit was our marriage was missing God........the 2nd thing I would say we were living under financial distress.....yep living above our means.....spending more than we bring in.....If you look at the statistics money will drive any marriage apart right into divorce. When a couple is under financial stress.....it can bring forth anger....worry....numbness of emotions....hatefulness.......meanness.....frustration......oh my and the kids are right in the midst.....which eventually overflows into the bedroom.....sleeping with a gap in between the 2 of you....um........sorry I didnt read this in a book or see it on TV .......It was us.........But we are determined not to get a divorce. Hmmmm so this is how some marriages last for years......getting through the rough parts.......Pastor Golden asked Sunday if there were any anniversaries in December. Yall I didnt even stand up and say nothing. Our Anniversary was December 2nd......5 years of marriage. We didnt do nothing. But we will be making that up to each other......soon soon soon.....oh my....just the thought......
