Well I know you have all been eagerly waiting for more up dates so here goes.On day four at last the last couple in our group arrived.We had breakfast with Linda and Gwyn and left them to catch up on some much needed shut eye.Got into a taxi to drive round the block as realised no way on earth was this going to fit four.So got out of the taxi to get into another one where the only way to get in was backwards and he had the old fear stick made out of a golf club on the steering wheel!Having only picked up my uncle we proceeded to the fort area to visit the most beautiful synagogue where my Uncle Joe and Aunty Florae got married.Managed to pick up a book written on the Jews of Bombay and spent a bit of time explaining to some Canadian Tourists about the Jews of Mumbai.They were completely enthralled especially when my uncle started speaking Hindi to the girl selling the books.From there we made a reservation at Trishna fish restaurant in Kala Ghoda.This area has a really nice bohemian feel to it.Rushed back to our hotel to pick Linda,Gwyn and Liz up for our first official tour of Bombay.Though Uncle Kordy found it very hard to let the guide do his job but the guide very kindly let him take over and adapted the tour accordingly.The highlight of the trip was Ghandis Museum where I read a letter he had written to both Roosevelt and Hitler.We also went to Victoria Terminus where we managed to dodge the three half million people who took the 1080 trains daily.British Rail eat your heart out we then went to see the dhobhi ghat who are the guys who have the world largest laundry with no Bosch machines in site.What an amazing sight.Time was ticking away so sadly we had to leave to rush back to the hotel to freshen up only to head back to the fort area for an amazing meal at Trishnas.If you eat seafood you must try the crab in garlic and butter.Best thing we have eaten so far.Another brilliant day cant wait for the next morning and the events that are going to unrole!
