Well I lost a client today cuz I told the truth. She started downing people who buy nice cars but live in apartments, etc... WELL I COULD REFRAIN no longer. Bottomline you dont own a house if you have a note on it; you are buying it. If loss of job, income can cause you to loose it, then you dont own it. Buying a house is simply another form of debt. Unless you own it outright! Just because some people can afford more debt than others doesnt make you better than another. Ive been in real estate since 1996; and as a broker, I know plenty of people who can buy but choose to rent. Its a choice. Some dont buy for various reasons which have nothing to do with credit or money! I know people are hyped about the AMERICAN DREAM, but few will tell you that dream can be a nightmare! Repairs, upkeep, along with a lot if other responsibilities of maintenance can quickly make you wanna wake up from that dream. Aint no landlord to call to fix plumbing in the middle of the night. Oh and what if you gotta wait til payday to fix it? Just saying, people do way too much judging. You want the truth, but you cant handle the truth!*few good men* And Ive seen a lot of posts about white people in an old car and pull up to a big house vs. black people in nice cars and pull up to apartments: and ya need to stop! Yep I said it! Some black people I know pull up in new cars to condos they are leasing for $2-3k a month for studio apartments. all Im saying is stop comparing and judging. Do whats right for you. Stop being DICTATED TO BY SOCIETY OF WHAT YOU SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT HAVE! #andThatsAlliHaveToSayAboutThat *gump*
