Well, I made it! I am in the Five-Year Club and wearing my 5 Year jacket that I earned working for Xerox, having just completed my 5th year anniversary with them. Whew! My marriages have been shorter! I have out lasted my entire training class, including my trainers, along with some great people who have gone on to other things and in some cases, passed away. I have worked with some great people. I have worked under some great supervisors and managers who have come and gone, but it was the people I work with and sit next to every day that I really enjoy walking through the doors to see, even though it may never show on my face or through my words. It is that human element that I enjoy, and knowing that I am helping others out of problems and making their day and lives a little better. This is becoming the third-longest job that I have ever had. Excluding being a father, because that is a lifetime adventure that I enjoy every day. It is a stressful job, and some days it gets the best of me and some people ask me how do I deal with it, the fact after 5 years at a company where you served various positions, that youre not a trainer when you could, to these co-workers and even supervisors aged close enough to that of your own children, show them what true resilience and character is, along with your vast knowledge? My reply is this: Old Age and Treachery always outwits Youth and Skill. I want to thank the people who supported me over the years. Thank you and I hope I made you proud of me and my achievements. I also want to thank sincerely the person who inspired me to apply for the job who also falls into the category of all of those other people who have not supported me, cast me aside and left me for dead, of which I have some words for you: WRONG AGAIN! Right about now, it sure sucks to be you! LMFAOROTFIFP! Translation: Laughing My fn @$$ Off, Rolling On The Floor In Fetal Position Thanks again! Joe
