Well, I may be the last of you to have seen Gravity, as I was on my own in my local cinema, which rather made me feel in space myself. Absolutely stunning visuals and effects: its easy to yawn at special effects these days in our digital world, but this film has you continually scratching your head, thinking How off earth did they do THAT? But a production of stark contrasts. Sandra Bullock is sensational, George Clooney horribly ordinary and miscast (sorry, girls). And whereas (I am advised by NASA friends) much of the production is incredibly realistic and spot on, this level of attention goes haywire when the plot includes astronauts loose in space happily jet-packing themselves between space stations. Not to mention, clinging onto each other in space for fear of drifting apart, which they wouldnt. But if you havent seen it yet, do, and I wont spoil it for you.
