Well I mowed a little of the back yard today trying to clear my head. I mean a very little of what I normally do because breathing is not good today. The reason I had to clear my head was because of a phone call I received this morning from the radiation people. They called and wanted me to come in right now - today. I told them I cannot come in right now because I live in Tupelo. You have to tell them Tupelo because if you say, “Houston” they get this dumb look on their faces and say, “Texas?” I said, “The soonest I can get there is in the morning.” They then said, “Well the radiation doctor wants you here in the morning at 11:00 to talk and back again at 1:00.” I replied, “Why? What did the PET scan say?” They replied, “I don’t know. The doctor just told me to get you in here as soon as possible. I would guess to discuss radiation.” I just said, “Okay, I’ll be there.” I then called and left a message with Dr. K to call me as soon as he could. After that I started mowing the back yard like I normally do. I was so frustrated and overwhelmed that I barely got any done and not being able to breathe very well today did not help matters. Dr. K and I just had a conversation. He wants radiation to radiate but he is very concerned now again that I might also have another cancer inside me because an area of the stomach/intestines showed a large mass present new since the previous PET scan. This could be the reason for the stomach cramps and pains that take me to my knees I have been having and could be the reason for all the blood when I am throwing up. He now wants me to be scoped from the rear and get biopsies of that as soon as they can possibly get it scheduled (probably starting on that Monday). Dr. K said to come by and see him in the morning after my first radiation appointment because we need to talk about this new cancer attacking my body and what we are/can do about it as well. Like freaking three different ones already aren’t enough! Anyway, that’s the gist of my news of the day thus far….who knows what is going to be next…
