Well, I rang in the new year with my husband and kiddos last night kissing the face of Jesus in praise and worship at my wonderful church Ambassador Pointe with all my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord has fulfilled His promise to bring us out active addiction in 2012, to restore our marriage and family in 2013, He fulfilled His promise to bring us out of homelessness and poverty in 2014, and this new year in 2015 He is changing our direction into ministry. I am so thankful that He is not a man that He should lie or change His mind and that He is faithful to accomplish His word despite my failings and unfaithfulness! My resolution this year is to grow closer to Him, to crucify my flesh more often, and to learn to REST deeply and securely in His love for me rather than lean on my own understanding and self will. I can honestly say I have never been more excited about the future! Life is not always sunshine and rainbows, sometimes its clinging to The Rock of my salvation in the middle of the hurricane. But I am learning to kiss the waves that throw me against Him. 2015 WILL be the best year of my life so far. Come what may, good, bad or indifferent as long as I hold tightly to God and to my program of recovery. If I take action and allow myself to be corrected and discipled by The Holy Spirit and the spiritual leaders that have been placed in my life I will continue to grow into the person God intended me to be. Im trading in more ashes for beauty... Wow. What a wonderful life it is 💕 Im so blessed to have you all in my life. Some of the greatest blessings God has given me is the gift of each and everyone of YOU my friends. Thank you for being a part of my journey, for praying with me, encouraging me, lifting me up when I have been down, loving me and being there for me through thick and thin. Im overwhelmed with joy to enter this new year with all of you! I love you all!
