Well, I received the results of my needle biopsies and the news is not good. There are lymphoma cells in both of the samples. I debated on when/how to share this news but there are so many prayer warriors in my FB family that I decided to let you all know because I believe in the power of prayer and I aint too proud to beg!! I have an appointment with an oncologist on Monday (11/17) and surgery is scheduled for Wednesday (11/19). They will remove the entire lump/lymph node from my neck to analyze it. Jeff and I are doing fine. We spent the weekend doing just enough research so that we know the best questions to ask but not enough research to scare the crap out of us! :-) I am praying a specific prayer for now (since there are so many unknowns). The lymphatic system is divided into regions. The cancer is easier to treat if it is only in one region. Until we can gather more info this is my immediate need. I love my FB family. You are always so kind and supportive and overwhelming with your love. I promise to ask if I need anything but right now I ask for your prayers!
