Well I reloaded my first 100 rnds. of 9mm with the 115 gr. RN bullets that I bought from X-Treme Bullets . Great bullets ! Everything went well . Fired for function good etc. I didnt fire for accuracy yet . was having to much fun plinking with the first 50 rnds . I hit most everything so cant be that bad , huh ? :) I have to get the piggy back conversion back on the ole Rock Chucker thought . This single stage is for the birds . I hope I havent lost any of the parts over the years of it being in storage . Sure I did . Murphys law and all ya know . Would be nice to have another single stage to mount over in the corner for the odd 50 or 100 rounds of some other caliber that comes up from time to time so one doesnt have to mess with what ever cartridge the progressive may be dialed into at the time . The Hornady dies that I bought a couple years ago and have just used for the first time are really nice ! The crimp and bullet seat at the same time seems to work very well . I figured I would have to get a separate taper crimp but not this time around . Did a very good taper crimp on each shell casing . The seating /crimping die has a sleeve slides up and down in the die . Ive never seen this before but as I am not familiar with and other dies than .38/.357 and the like from RCBS I dont know if this is standard or not ? Works great none the less . Now to get back into progressive ! :)
