Well! I think the tide has turned. Last night I got an email from the facility that was testing our insulation for asbestos. It came back NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!!! No asbestos in this house! Then I got a call from Sears saying they will be here with our brand new refrigerator on Saturday!!! It wont be a fancy one, and it wont be huge, but it will work and it will be ours and it will be just the right size for the two of us. I will have to empty out the old one and take all the magnets off of it, but I will NOT clean it. They will wash it down anyway, or more than likely just toss it. It is so old. My hubbys had it in here since 1977! it may be a double door refrigerator/freezer, but its so old! It makes more noises than my knees when I kneel and get back up. Having the okay on the insulation mean that the county will come back and finish their testing and inspection of our house and then we will get the much needed help in fixing it up. If we get lucky, we will get a NEW furnace, New hot water tank, INSULATION in the outer walls and even get our windows fixed so I can sit here and not feel like Im freezing. Boy that will be a great thing if we do get it, but I wont hold my breath. Ive been pooped on too many times and had my hopes bashed when things didnt work out. I will keep yall up to date on everything. Oh, by the way ..... I can see my facebook pages like Im suppose to. Finally. Maybe the note I sent to FB. Could be. Gee I wonder if my good luck will continue with some sales of my stuff? Oh well, gotta go work on a special order wire tree. And maybe sew another patch to the three I have sewn together already. Its gonna take me a long time to do, but when you cant feel the needle or thread, it IS hard to do. Cant get sewing machine fixed. (It jumped the timing - sounds like a car. It wont pick up the bobbin thread and you have to take it to a technician to get it fixed. MORE money, but not from me!) Yall have a good night.
