Well, I thought I better report in just in case you were gonna call 911! Despite the rain, and being in Publix for 1-1/2 hrs., no one was killed or maimed! Guess they thought they better stay out of my way! Grocery list in hand, I went round and round the store. Who doesnt have Move Over Butter? (and found no basil). But, I went over to the bakery for a mini cannoli and then to the deli for some Boars Head meat. Met a lady from Merrick! And, I think I could get a job there. As were discussing Boars Head, other people approached and they all sampled what I bought and took some home! I made 10 sales at last count....then it was time to check out (now that everything had thawed!) Note to self: frozen aisles last.Sticker shock at the register!!!!! I was warned...and I hardly had any meat! I have to say, everyone was very helpful...and I needed lots of help! Well, Im home...beat the rain....and now gonna munch down on a Sausalito turkey and Swiss on rye....with a pickle...and then the mini cannoli!
