Well, I told ya my cup was overflowing! And it almost overflowed right on out of my car!! Were packed and on our way to meet Christ Responders and head out to Parkersburg!! I dont think we could have fit another thing! GOD IS SO GOOD and Im so excited to go share His love with the homeless. Thank you to each and every one who contributed to this worthy mission, whether it was through food, snacks, blankets, clothing, lighters, batteries, or a dozen other material things or just through a simple prayer from your heart, which is what we ALL need the most. We couldnt do this without you and we couldnt do anything without Him. Im not even there yet, but still I find myself fighting back tears. Preparing for today has changed me. We are such a blessed and fortunate people, yet I think it does us all good to stop and reflect on what others dont have....the littlest things that we take for granted. This has forced me to think outside my comfortable world and I dont like it that others have these daily struggles to survive while I sit in my comfortable, warm surroundings. We have to do something. Weve been commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves. Its not a suggestion. We have to if we wish to enter His kingdom someday. But I have to say that its not a drudgery to do His work....it is an honor and a privilege and a blessing. Thank you, Christ Responders, for inviting us to come along today and for sharing your blessing with us. I have the utmost respect for what you do every single month, rain or shine. God bless you and God continue to bless your ministry!
