Well I took my first ever meeting last night after standing in for the secretary I think I did an ok job although I was very very nervous but what a good meeting it was. After a rough few days of arguing with my eldest son and the urge to use and drink ever being at the forefront of my mind.. I got myself to a meeting. For those on my page that are not addicts or do not suffer with mental health our battles do not come and go it is a daily struggle a battle we fight 24/7 we dont claim that you should understand it all just that you show some compassion and thought when things are said especially in the heat of the moment. Not everyone will know your story those close may think they do but they wont know entirely what your life was like!
