Well I was already opposed to UKIP but have just read their website and found they want to scrap ALL subsidies to Wind and Solar energy! No mention of scrapping subsidies to Gas and Oil companies of course. As far as I am concerned this is reason enough to render them unsuitable for government. For a party supposedly dedicated to bringing power back to the UK why would they oppose us using free and clean energy assets that we already have within our borders? Their policy would leave us totally dependent on Foreigners for our domestic energy supply and that runs counter to everything they claim to stand for.
