Well, I was hesitant to speak this because Ive been down so many looong roads with Voc Rehab but VR WV has been much more collaborative and committed to PK and so far, to me so I am going THERE. My comments about moving are real. I am relocating to Long Island, NY in September to go after a Ph.D in Social Welfare. I am completely overwhelmed with yet another three way move with five more speaking events this summer and a new grandson on the way, but I am thrilled beyond words to finally be going after a long held goal. I cant wait to become more engaged and invested in my new community. Words cannot express my gratitude to Stephen Mark Shore, my work hubby who never gave up on me and pressed me to persist. I love you lil bro! I am hugely grateful to my loving and empowering daughter who encouraged me to go ahead and pursue my degree even though my heart will be with Shep in Louisville. And words cannot express my gratitude to the team at Marshall University who are giving me my first opportunity to go after MY dreams. None of it would be possible if PK did not know they had his back. None of it would be possible if I (Italics) didnt know they had his back. Thank you Marshall University College Aspergers Program for loving, caring, supporting and pushing my son to excellence.
