Well, I went back to the doctor today and my iron level is still very low. I have been on iron pills, but they are not doing the job. I am scheduled to go to the hospital sometime on Monday to receive a transfusion of iron and then another on another day. Pray that this will be resolved and I can begin to feel better. Those that have ever had low iron know that it can literally make you feel like you are going crazy. You have no energy, your heart races at the slightest movement, you have a hard time concentrating, and I have insomnia. Those are just a few symptoms of anemia. I am ready to be Tammy again. My students need all of my energy. On a happy note: Jon and Brooke Melton found out today that they are going to remain at Ft. Bragg for a while longer. Germany can wait.
