Well I went to the doctor to get the staples removed. It wasnt as painful as I thought it was going to be. Dr. Sheth said my incisions look great. The soreness in the lymph node area will be there for several months but I am suppose to use my right arm like I was before my surgery in order for it to become stronger and heal completely. As for the lymph node test for cancer.....it came back negative for cancer. No cancer in my lymph nodes. I am so blessed and happy, I cried. This journey isnt completely over yet. Now its radiation treatments and hormone blocker pills for the rest of my life. But Im alive and happy. I want to thank every one of the amazing people that have been here for my daughter and I thru this breast cancer journey. Yall have been incredible. Thank you so very much :-) I am officially a breast cancer survivor!!!!
