Well, Ill be. I tested positive. For Lyme, that is. I am experiencing a strange mixture of relief (that includes peculiar happy dances), and terror (this is going to be one hell of a year or two, now isnt it?), and a just a hair of pissed-off-ness (why dont doctors cover all of the bases, and has this whole last year been a giant waste of time?). But Im going to keep my eyes focused on the possibilities here... of healing... of hiking to the top of Lookout Mountain again... of doing the Mountain to Sea Trail... of playing tag with the kids... of getting through a day without falling asleep at my computer, and not being so cranky by the time the kids come home from school... of investing in a sh**load of tick-protective clothing for our summertime outdoor adventures...
