Well, Im BACK HOME, NO operation....Surgeon had agood look at my eyenad has decided not to operate as the surgery can cause complications and thicker lesions. The growth is called a PTERGSIUM, usually caused by ultra violet light or spending lots of time outdoors in the sun. Instead, I have been given a repeat prescription of artificial tears, drops to be used every 2 hours until the growth gets bigger, have to hve a scan on my eyes in 3 months to check the size gain. In one wy its a relief, but, I was hoping to be able to see properly, its not nice, feels like I have grit in my eye and constantly watering. Also, its not a cataract on the right eye, but another Pterygium, so the same applys to that one. Bloody great....Thank you everyone for all the messages. xxxxx
