Well Im happy to have my baby back but was not lucky enough to - TopicsExpress

Well Im happy to have my baby back but was not lucky enough to have a good dealership experience with Boyd Chevrolet in Emporia VA. I dropped my car off 3 months ago freshly cleaned inside and out in perfect condition. I get there and they have had my car parked in a back lot under pine trees the entire 3 months. There is sap all over the windshield and newly painted hood. Its so filthy from end to end that you cant really tell its gloss black. Theres molded pine needles caked on and under my wipers, sticks and cones included. So many theyve filled under the upper portion of the hood and fallen into the fenders and door jams. I have 6 dents on my hood from falling limbs and cones(2 are very obvious) And my baby is almost on its rim in the back with a nail sticking out my almost new 300$ tire. I open the door and they didnt even put down paper or plastic protectors on my carpet and seats. Dirt everywhere. Dead bugs crushed into my carpet. My wipers have mold and dirt on them an have dry rotted. Te top of my left mirror has half the clear coat and paint missing. At this point Im not very happy. This car has survived 5 years and in 90 days its paint happens to bubble and crack off. My front bumper has split paint on it from what appears to be from a fat ass using it as a step up to get under the hood. In 14 years I have never received my Chevys back from dealerships in this condition. They have always been as clean as I left them or better. And protectors have always been put down so the mechanics dont get dirt and grease inside. Well I limp her over to the shop and tell them about the tire. He puts air in it and tells me its not their problem. If I want it fixed I have to pay to plug it. Ok so how about as i am backing it up and limping it Im playing hell to turn the steering wheel. Fighting it like it has no power steering. I tell him this and he has the balls to say it must have been that way before because they dont touch anything in the steering column or under the hood to fix the recalls.... At this point Im about to yank him across the counter. I flip out and tell him Im not stupid bc Im a girl. If you didnt touch the steering column then you damn sure didnt install a new ignition switch and cylinder. He walks away from me and tells me to call my lawyer if I dont like the way my car was treated and returned to me. I get back in the car to leave and my tpm goes nuts. The idiot put 54 psi in my tire. I get out to double check it and sure enough thats what he did. Im just smdh. Been working for 2 days to get my baby back clean and get all this sap off without destroying the paint. Still dont know what to do about my tire, steering and the dents. Seems like too minor of issues to get my lawyer in it but at the same time I know Chevy corporate wont do anything but apologize. As Ive been driving it the steering has gotten better. Still tight though for sure. On the plus side I did get it appraised Saturday and its holding value at 14k so Im happy mine didnt depreciate the way others have. *steps down off the soapbox*
