Well, Im not exactly sure why I am posting this particular photo (yes, some self-indulgent reasons for one, no doubt ;) ), today, or any day for that matter (yes, thats me, from the boy old days ;) )...I was, a few minutes ago, thinking about the person who took this photo, my former spouse, who is now, and sadly once again, enduring cancer, sigh. I wish her ALL the best of course! And btw, for reasons unknown to me, and after all this time being able to (not sure why either that she hadnt blocked me, until just recently) see her FB page, now I cant--thankfully I have a mutual friend between us, and hes been able to pass along to me how shes doing--not the best it looks like. :-( So anyway, this photo of me was taken by her, the day after I came out to her (10/27/05), so its, you know, a pretty significant moment there, for the both of us. Things have SURE changed a lot since that day! For each of us, and more often than not, not in good ways, but thats how things go often times when one makes a life-altering decision to come out to their spouse--eh? Im sure some, maybe many of you have been through similar circumstances. I still feel, actually I know that she had it much worse than I did, and I wish she had never went through all those very difficult days, weeks, months and years--MUCH undeserved. We have both, of course, moved on since this photo was taken in Aspen, Colorado, a lifetime ago, in every way! Ill do my best to send her good, positive thoughts, feelings, prayers, whatever it takes. Best Wishes, Betty, always. (Hugs) ♥
