Well Im on the job hunt again. I knew two weeks ago when my boss cut my hours and hired a young pretty little gal whos mom is a bartender in the same place that I was on the chopping block. He let me go tonight. Gave a bullshit excuse that a customer said I was rude tonight. On a night that I made 140+ in tips in 8 hrs! I had one 30.00 tip on a 150.00 ticket! A RUDE WAITRESS DOES NOT MAKE THOSE KIND OF TIPS! The customer he referred to is an arrogant asshole who made a smartassed comment about my pentagram last week when I waited on him his wife and his bratty kid. The guy came in for 3 milk shakes to go tonight and got pissed cause it took a while since we were slammed and I was the only server. Oh well I dont look for him to last 6 mts anyway. He is over pricing the menu for the income level of most of his customer base here in Coquille. I suggested he offer an early bird special and his response was that he did not want to sell cheap plates like the Kozy Kitchen. Well when 50% of ur customers are elderly on fixed incomes you price accordingly!
