Well, Im out of the emergency room and finally home. I was involved in a major auto accident today after a faculty meeting today at ENHS. At about 5:15pm, I was at a stand-still with my signal light on on Monte Cristo road waiting for oncoming traffic to pass so I could go south on 23rd. An F250 pickup traveling at approximately 55-65 mph rearended me without ever hitting the brakes. It came out of nowhere. I was in my pickup truck. There was glass everywhere and the entire bed of the truck was completely crushed, like an accordion. Before I knew it, I was in an ambulance with a neck brace on a stretcher heading to the emergency room. Miraculously, the cat scan and mri were negative. However, my head, neck, shoulders and back are going to be very, very sore for awhile. I just want to thank my family for being there for me this evening. How I survived this accident is beyond me... The witnesses continued to tell me they couldnt believe I survived. For those who were praying for me and my family, I just want to express my thanks. I will inform my parents of what happened tomorrow. Im going to rest now, the painkillers are beginning to kick in. Its been a long day. Good night, everyone...and God bless...
