Well...Im slightly disappointed by our lack of movement in the Transfer window. In a way, Im not calling for Ian Ayres head like a lot of LFC fans. But I think we could have used a few more bodies in the squad just because its so thin! We have seen on numerous occasions this season, we get an injury and the whole face of the squad changes. This Konoplyanka fella may well have been a talent but I think he would have not been what we needed. We needed a defensive midfielder to cover Lucas (even a loan deal would have done) another striker and a CB. That would have seen us through the season. But I do think Ayre has been struggling with his negotiation skills of late. When a director flies to another country you pretty much expect the deal to be near enough complete. Perhaps it is time for change, but then you could also argue...Suarez, Coutinho, Sturridge, Sterling...and a number of other top players have been brought in by this guy. So he obviously knows what hes doing to a certain extent. But like I said..perhaps change is Needed. What about this fella who just left Southampton? He sort of knew what he was doing. But then again a lot of theyre players have come through the system down there. Thoughts?
