Well Ive been busy tonight , I decided to pull back the Rowan chunky alpaca I was knitting in the show today and knit it in 2 different needles- a 15mm and a 9mm. This made it a bit looser and a more lacy effect. I cast on 20 stitches with 9 mm needles knit 1 row then brought in the 15mm and used the 2 odd needles throughout . I knitted basically until my ball ran out then cast off using 9 mm needles . Sewed up the seam using a ladder stitch to give a perfect matching seam as shown . Now got a lovely cowl neck to keep the chill off . The Rowan Alpaca is such a lovely soft yarn , check online for colours and prices D x
