Well Ive been told by Lana my youngest daughter that Im the worst parent ever So here is the story. Lana has missed the bus a number of times. I have threatened to make her walk. Well today was the day..... she made every excuse for me to drive but she knew I was serious. It was a nice walk although I talked to myself probably 3/4 of the way. I explained how I walked uphill both ways in 2 feet of snow to school when I was a kid. She rolled her eyes at me. They just dont believe me. Ridgway kids would know. On the way a friend saw us and turned around to offer us a ride. I said oh no we are enjoying the walk. I knew she wanted the ride. She did start to smile a little as I asked her if I could take a selfie of us together so the 1 pic isnt the only one to post. She would not think of it. After we got there I signed her in since she was late. I filled in the reason as. She missed the bus that is 60 feet from our front door 7 times so today we walked. Lol I pointed out ever little worthless thing I could to her just to annoy her as much as possible. I did scream down the hall I love you as she walked thru the door to class. I know a bunch of people heard that. Then I walked home. 5 miles round trip. When she gets home tonite I might just tell her since I enjoyed our time together so much we might just have to get up a little earlier and walk every morning. So this is how the worst parent starts out their day lol
