Well, Ive made it to the eve of the Big 50!! Wow!! I hate to coin another cliché, but I guess it fits: Its amazing how time flies!! 50 years gone by in the blink of an eye it seems. Im glad to have made it thus far, and without sounding too corny or sappy, I really have to thank God for it. I now understand what the old folks in church really meant when they would testify and say Gods brought me a mighty, mighty, long way, and I might add hes not done with me yet. Thank you to my family and friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin over the years, and to those that have been lost along the way, perhaps well be able to meet again, if not here but maybe on the other side!! At midnight I plan to crack open a bottle of bubbly and say heres to the first 50 years of life!! and send up a toast and cheers to the next 50!! Smile and enjoy life!! All the best to everyone!! OMG, now Im old enough to get an AARP card!! Oh, well I plan to use it too!! :) Peace!!
