Well, Ive made the jump! I know when you look at the photo, your first though may be that the colors are too close. There is a story behind why Im using the fabrics that Im using. And I have plenty of greens, pinks, and even some blues to throw in there. I pulled these fabrics from my best friends stash. She was diagnosed with ALS 3 years ago. She lost her ability to quilt some time back and gave all of her fabric to me. She and I used to travel a lot together - one year we went on 2 cruises ;-) I could call her and ask her if she wanted to go to South Carolina (my home state) with me and she and I would jump into the car and go. I think the theme of this BOM is a perfect opportunity to make a quilt to honor her and our travels. Thanks, Pat for the opportunity to quilt along with you!!
