Well, Ive seen all the televised debates and after the last two I am convinced that Scotland must vote NO, not just for the good of the UK as a whole but for Scotland. The generous public spending, promise of no austerity measures AND tax cuts is not stacking up for me. Based on a thriving economy, they say they can be that generous but......things change....The Borders had a thriving knitwear business then along came fleece...what happened to that? I used to visit factories making clothing in Scotland with 100 machinists.....along came cheaper labour and manufacturing to the same quality overseas.....what happened to them? Scottish steel, ship building....what happened there? Its not long ago we were remembering World War One yet Scotland doesnt need defence........or the jobs helping to defend the UK provides........ I could go on but it seems Scotland is doing well out of being part of the UK so lets keep it that way and keep the strength being joined up gives us all. Creating artificial borders does not help economically or socially. Be proud to be Scottish Scotland but be delighted to be united!
