Well Jack had a rather belated Birthday song from 8 young ladies from Ballard School. When I got them to help me hay him today and told them it had been his birthday on Tuesday they insisted on singing Happy Birthday to him . what was rather surprising esp to those of us who know that FOOD is his only interest ... well he left his hay and stood in his open doorway and was transfixed by their rather lovely singing ... I was actually rather moved . Mind you after they were on their 3rd and 4th rendition .. so was he back to his hay !!!!!!!!!! LOL
