Well. Jason and I have a perfect, beautiful, happy little girl. We have been in labor since late Friday evening and pushed together for almost four hours. The journey has been a long and arduous one to say the least. But I suppose we have this beautiful, unstoppable, force of life within us three called LOVE. And love conquers all. Even exhaustion. Even discouragement. Our birth story is complicated and amazing and filled with ups and downs and for me, some self doubt. But somehow... Perhaps, one could say, by the grace of god, we pulled together and labored in love, for the very sake of it. And for all of that hard work... This amazing little creature is our reward. Everyone, we very proudly introduce Hazel (middle name To be determined after some time together) Smith. Thank you to everyone who made her journey here a safe, triumphant, and magical one. We are blessed beyond measure and completely overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and support we have received. We cant wait to share all this craziness and immeasurable joy with you... And in due time, we will be ready for visitors. For now, we are tired and hungry.
