Well King, you and your TORIES were highly successful in fighting against socialism (public ownership and control) for decades. Yep, that fiercely anti socialist fighter, Joh Bjelke Petersen started Queensland on the road to privatisation of public assets. Oh there were all sorts of little stories doing the rounds to condemn socialist enterprises. One was the story of the little red hen which had the message that the person at the top did all the work and was therefore entitled to all the profits. How people all around me, nodded and agreed!! Funny thing is, now they are all whinging and whining about the high housing insurance costs and nobody supports the little red hen CEOS with their multi million dollar salaries. Funny that, hey what?? HOWEVER, everyone now knows that privatisation only results in fewer jobs, often offshored, less customer service and big big salaries for those at the top. PRIVATISATION has failed. So the conversation with Australians is that we once again look at PUBLIC OWNERSHIP and CONTROL...yes, resurrect good old socialism from its graveyard and bring it back into vogue. Our country needs it. We all need it. We want our country back.
