Well...... Last night was an interesting successful bust. Been watching the temperatures, the clouds, the sunsets, etc and of course, my trusty Photographers Ephemeris and wound up down at the river last night all set and ready to shoot the moonrise, the sunset and the Rainbow Bridge all in one beautiful moment. (insert sound of scratching record here) Forgot that the angle of the surrounding hills is such that a full moon rise is an hour later than the posted moon rise. By the time the moon got above the hills, the bridge, the river, etc it was so dark that I had pretty much lost everything. The hike down through the rocks and weed in the dark isnt a huge deal but it didnt help either. So, submitted for your enjoyment is the PRE moonrise festivities. The sky opposite the sunset went totally pink, to the point it almost looked artificial. I wound up having to reduce it just to keep it looking real... ~c
