Well, Marvelous Monday was not such a bad day ... so lets make this a Terrific Tuesday ... Put your Smile on everyone .. its going to be a great day!!! Time for Devotions and coffee before heading to the office this morning. Thanking God for His love for each of us, for providing the guidance and protection for each of us as we travel our paths of life and for his healing powers in our lives. Praying for a day filled with good health, great success, considerate people, lots of laughter (remember that it is good medicine), and opportunities to share Gods love with those we meet. Todays Devotions: Serenity: When we encounter unfortunate circumstances that are beyond our power to control, heres a proven way to retain our sanity: accept those circumstances (no matter how unpleasant), and trust God. Reinhold Niebuhr composed a profoundly simple verse known as the Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Niebuhrs words are far easier to recite than they are to live by. Why? Because most of us want life to unfold in accordance with our own wishes and timetables. But sometimes God has other plans. When we trust God, we can be comforted in the knowledge that our Creator is both loving and wise, and that He understands His plans perfectly, even when we do not. Loving Him means the thankful acceptance of all things that His love has appointed. Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your instruction; nothing makes them stumble. Psalm 119:165 ..
