Well Montford had to go to see Richard and Carly at The vets today. We were concerned as he was a little wheezie this week. Id spoke to Carly at the beginning of the week about this but as the heating had been on wanted us to see if this changed over the next few days. We decided that its better to be safe than sorry so off Montford went to the vets. No big deal the car journey to him, he just fed his face whilst we drove along. Luckily hes not travel sick (like his brother from another mother Axel). We played Richard a clip of his breathing and explained to him. Richard gave him a check over and believes it more nasal than respiratory which is good and game him some antibiotics to be on the safe side and took some blood to see what his white cells was doing. Montford hit a sniff of gas to knock him out for the bloods and Richard was able to get enough blood for a full blood works so we have a better picture of everything going on with him being a older boy and also took a bit of his nails too. Montford was pretty ok with all this and happily eat in the way back home. Hes such a gentle fella. Richard was really pleased with his progress and his chest feathers and said how much better he looked too 😊 Carly went up the loft and got him a apple branch for daddy to make me a perch with too.
