Well Mr. President you may have your pen but we still have a Constitution, it trumps your pen! The real fallacy here is that progress does not emanate from Washington as a result of Congress or the President, REAL PROGRESS is the by product of Liberty, and that is the result of the absence of government. The more government intervenes, taxes, controls and regulates.... the less reward there remains for those who produce. This is not Rocket Science people. Suppose the NBA was operated like government, it would only serve to penalize those who are the most productive. What do you think would happen if LaBron James was told that every point he scored beyond 20, one point would be awarded to the opposing team? What if the three point line was extended out another five feet for a select group of players and if you were over 6 tall you were told you couldnt jump to score our get rebounds.....after all, many would argue, this is only fair for the less advantaged players! That would be Insane, it would ruin the game, why? Because All the rules apply equally to All the players, and that is as it should be.... every player is rewarded for their effort and production, what could possibly be more fair than that? Logic dictates that we apply precisely the same standards to the economic realm, simply reward effort, industry and innovation, rather than penalize it!
