Well, New Orleans was certainly New Orleans. We learned to walk in groups. Which we do anyway so it wasnt much of a change. We are currently driving through Louisiana and it is a different type of beautiful than we are used to. Our little (big?) road trip is coming along great. We met up with Dane and slept on Bourbon Street. Bourbon Street is unlike anything anything Ive ever seen. I will leave it at that. We spent most of our time on the balcony and some of our time playing music. Within a sea of street performers and drunks, our favorite part of the city came from a seedy parking lot while we walked down a random street. There was a kid in a spiderman costume hanging upside down from a tree. We were waiting for Roger to get out of a novelty shop, and the kid just stayed upside down the entire time. It had to be at least five minutes. When Roger came out, we walked past him and I caught his eye and told him that he ruled. He hopped down from the tree and slowly walked away. I thought I had offended his honor, but instead, he was crouching behind cars and slowly following our movements, making sure we watched him. We cheered for him. I hope thats the way people feel when they watch us sometimes. Anyway, heres a video in honor of the great state of Louisiana. Try to forget the shirt. We filmed it quickly on Lake Pontchartrain by an incredibly long bridge before we left for Houston. Shows: 1/21: Dan Electros. Houston, TX. Music at 9pm. 1/22: Zinc Wine Bar. Albuquerque, NM. 930pm. 1/23: Adobe Bar. Taos, NM. 630pm. 1/24: Mias Lounge. Flagstaff, AZ. 10pm.
