Well, Praise the Lord and pass the Twinkies. I just saw on the news that Twinkies are coming back next month. That’s just what I needed, Twinkies, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and a couple of country ham biscuits. Since I’m not suppose to eat any of that stuff, I think I’ll request that somebody cram a few of’em into my casket to carry me through while I’m on my journey to heaven. But to be honest, Heaven will probably have all the great food that we aren’t suppose to eat down here. Hot-diggity-dog, can you just imagine, eating all the stuff you have been deprived of while on earth. Maybe the Good Lord would give me a job up there working in a hot dog stand that had Twinkies and Krispy Kremes for dessert. I had a great day yesterday driving home from Cary listening to a great book on the CD player while glancing once in a while at my beautiful sleeping wife. As soon as we got home, Vickie left for the beach to spend a few days with the grand-youngins and I got a chance to have a quality visit with my best friend Stephen Brooks. It was good to see him making great strides in his recovery. The old grin is back, but a lot of pain is still with him. He is a blessed man to have come through what he did, so God surely has plans for him in the future. The drive all the way over to Lincoln County was worth it just to get my hugs from Teena and Stephen’s daughter, Julie. Seeing Stephen was nice, too. I love you folks! Vickie took off to the beach yesterday and left me completely nannerless. I usually eat a banana every morning while writing my facebook post. Since I was without a banana, I thought I would eat a couple of bowls of cereal to tide me over until I could get to the gallery for my regular breakfast, but wouldn’t you know it, the milk was out of date. So I just ate a couple of yogurts…you can’t tell when they’re out of date anyway. I’m looking forward to getting back on my regular feed of Lance Cheese Crackers and ginger snaps. Well, it’s 4:30 now and time to get ready to head for Planet Fitness and work some of the extra weight off that I earned at the Embassy Suites in Cary. Man oh man, what a breakfast buffet. I earned three extra pounds in three days…that might be a record, I don’t know, but I surely enjoyed poking all those groceries down my neck every morning. Gotta run. Have a great day and behave yourself, God is watching. God Bless!!
