Well. . That went sideways in a hurry. .. TWC appeared at the planned time, within a nanosecond, moving things around, Toms OCD kicked into overdrive.. the poor installer...Tom seems to remember some electronics, although his verbal commands are still a little fuzzy.. after a few, Oh Gods, and a couple, G-dits the cable was working. . Only in black and white? The service guy was quite perplexed. .Tom looked at the back of the cable box and began switching all the hdmi cables around. . Still no color. . Then he looked ay the installer and said, the Messer is wrong .. so. .after a brief run through of all applicable words, eureka! Messer=internet. . The installer had entrys in his computer duplicated. .Tom continued to hover over the installer. . Pointing to cables and saying, right there! .. once the direct tv box was pulled from the cabinet altogether, he just panicked, as it was like an old friend. . He spent the rest of the installation pouting on the couch. ...when the cable guy left the one chord hanging from the tv to the box, and didnt snake it thru the wall, it was an issue. .I guess next time Pat is home, we can remove the tv enough to hide that one cable. . All in all it was confusing, and I am still hearing, oh God! when he points to the stray cable. .. his mood improved when I found the ESPN & NFL channels. .perhaps game day will sweeten his disposition. . Accompanied by meatloaf and mashed taters.... for those of you who dont believe food is the way to a mans heart, I beg to differ. . In this case tho, it defo improves his attitude..amazing, most days he cant remember my name, but I pull out a meatloaf pan and hes all giddy.. oh well...it isnt what it was, but we do what we must to keep the center of his universe semi - normal. . He is warm, he is happy, and he is hungry. . Gotta go! :)
