Well! Time to wrap up my cracker of a weekend! We had four horses - TopicsExpress

Well! Time to wrap up my cracker of a weekend! We had four horses entered at burpengary EA ode & zone 26 championships. And we walked away with one win and three Thirds!! What a cracker! The stunning Wildfires Redemption did it again! Winning the Zone 26 1* champion and 3rd place in the EA 1* (we would have been top two but we had gear malfunction in the showjumping - quite hilarious when your stirrups snap and your saddle is sliding back!!) but bless his socks - I just grabbed the mane and kicked!! And for him to walk away with only the three rails, while Im hanging off the side - what a Champion! And now everyone knows why we do no stirrup training haha!! Trip to Horseland now it seems! I just hope we can get SOS traveling! Its such a shame to see him only competing locally! Fingers crossed for the next stage of retraining! But two 1* wins in a fortnight!! Wow wow! The limelight couldnt be taken off the sensational Typhoon CG - her first ever Prenovice and our 3rd competition together! And wow burpengary put on a tough tough course - only 4 from 20 went without refusals in the 1* and only a handful went clear in the Prenovice! And she just FLEW! Her form and technique is second to none! She finished 3rd from 20 in the Prenovice and with room to improve! It wont be long before this mare is FEI! I also rode two clients horses Wildfires Deception - which I previously sold to Jill Sawyer, who has just been rehomed to my superstar clients Leanne, Carlos and Abby! His nature is unbeatable - and there is a reason he was LAST in his intro class! It should be impossible for a 5yr TB to go that slow! But that was exactly what we wanted for them, he tacked everything I asked and will be the best horse for the family to take out and compete and win through the lower levels, and safety is number 1! Well done drakey! Also I rode Rebecca Parrys wheres mine. And what a first outing for the mare! But I always believe in deep end with horses and seeing their suitability for riders and for a career in eventing! What a job she did! With no formal training - she finished 3rd! Couldnt believe it! What a future she has! Also a massive well done to Dani Hess for her first major win and rug in the Introductory class, and to Asher on her new ride, showing that in months to come - they will be unbeatable!! Well done!! Of course I have so so many people to thank! To Lachlan Kelso for cooking and forever cleaning up after me - I love you!! Of course my mum Neene Somerfield who helped at burpengary all week and without a break all weekend. To Abby, asher, dani, David Bennett, rach, and everyone else who Helped me with my horses, to Horseland strathpine Lana Flanagan for keeping my horses looking sensational! Tuffrock Steve Hurley - another event - another day my horses are looking good and sound ! To Karl Steininger from OTT who no only came up to drop Kasey Rosenlund her new jumps. But also gave me some stunning OTT back stands for Wildfire Equestrian! Your generously is amazing and Im so blessed to work for such a great company and later I will announce our JUNE special at OTT ! There is one more. Person to thank - Richard who I will talk about in another status, as I think he is worth it. Thankyou BPC for another super event ! 4 events in 4 weeks - its time for a break haha
